Mud Tots

This project documents a forest school group 'Mud Tots' who meet every Friday morning in Dartington, Devon. The pictures illustrate various aspects of outdoor education and children interacting with nature. Forest school is highly beneficial to children, giving them the chance to spend time outdoors, which is good for their health and confidence. It is here that they learn core values which will stay with them for the rest of their lives. We see the children grow and the seasons change. This space becomes a microcosm of the cycle of life itself as time passes. The images document a community and the fleeting moments of childhood. Hopefully the children will look back on this time & space with fondness.
