Ben’s Farm Shop is a small chain of local, independent shops in Devon specialising in organic & free range produce.
Part of the Riverford family, All five children, Louise (Farm), Ben (Shop), Oliver (Farm and Dairy) and Guy and Rachel (Organic Vegetable Boxes) are actively involved in the farm or its associated businesses.
These pictures, taken in Autumn 2025, capture Ben’s orchards, Christmas recipes and the shops at Staverton & Yealmpton. We take a peek behind the scenes at the on-site bakery in Staverton and meet staff and customers shopping in-store.
“What we like most is to produce foods ourselves from start to finish – from farm to table, our way. Food should tell a story and, because we know what it is, we can tell you. Food from the farm, not the factory; there is an alternative to large scale monoculture, long production lines and mega supermarkets. And it doesn’t have to cost the earth.”
