A new magazine by Riverford 'Veg & Table' launched in autumn ‘24.

Issue 1 - Autumn / Winter 2024

For the inaugural issue, I captured portraits of organic farmers and working the land and Guy Singh Watson at home.

The front cover was taken one dewy dawn, standing in the field kitchen garden. This is otherwise known as 'Penny's Polytunnel' and is described in the magazine as a 'cornucopia of unusual veg & herbs nestled in a meadow of wildflowers'.

Issue 2 - Spring / Summer 2025

I captured organic farming stories, including Riverford Dairy and veggie growers at Wash Farm. I also worked on a biodiversity feature and a food feature with baker Sarah Raisbeck. ‘A Moveable Feast’ celebrates summer picnics with inspiration to get outdoors.

The front cover features a photo of Ed, pictured harvesting tomatoes in the Wash Farm polytunnels. This was taken in summer season last year, when the tomatoes were fresh & ripe.

Issue 3 - Autumn / Winter 2025

I photographed farming families for this issue and an agroforestry feature, with Guy Singh Watson and his walnut trees. I also photographed autumn recipes with Riverford Food Lead, Emily Lloyd.

The front cover was shot on a misty dawn up on Wash Farm as pickers gathered the harvest.
