In April 2025, I worked with This Girl Can and 23 Red to capture some images for their ‘Let’s Get Out There’ campaign. This is a call to women from all backgrounds to get out and make the most of the outdoors in their local area for walking and water based activities.
Shot on location in Selly Oak in Birmingham, the images capture real moments of women kayaking and having fun on bell boats at South Birmingham Paddle Club, as well as enjoying a walk through the scenic Lickey Hills Country Park.
This Girl Can is a Sport England initiative, funded by the National Lottery, that celebrates a real, unfiltered vision of women getting active — regardless of age, size or ability. Since its launch in 2014, it has inspired over 3 million women across the UK to get moving. It was a joy to contribute to such a powerful & positive initiative for women.
